Back on the #GenerationZ bandwagon (our favourite band wagon at Flux Trends - right dion chang ?).
Anyway, today's signal looks at how the big 4 consulting companies have ALL now invested in "peopling" skills training programmes for their new Gen Z hires - you know, all the skills employees formally had broken into them by schools and parents (and not exactly unlike the "smile coaches" the post-pandemic Japanese are investing in).
That's nice.
However, it got me thinking - what skills and training are these companies investing in to help their own old selves understand the future!?
Where is the investment in changing yourself rather than expecting your customers and your future workers to change themselves to fit in with your shrinking, conservative world view?
Do you really think a 2 week programme will make them think and act and want like you do? (Haha, enjoy that fiction.)
We have some ideas (if you want to meet you future, we have a FANTASTIC proven solutions-focused private "meet the future" tour and workshop model we'd love to share with you via connected@fluxtrends.co.za - just saying! Otherwise keep following my #dailysignals - which are and will be free food for thought ready for you to use or ignore as you feel fit).
