Cost of living crisis and opportunity

#DailySignals - Your 2 minute preview of the future

Daily signals back after the long weekend, and we're looking at the (unequal) cost of living crisis, and how, when we look under the hood, we see that the things we need are getting more expensive even as the things we don't need get cheaper.

This only illuminates the dichotomy of the "pace of change" - where the more (some) things change, the more (other) things stay the same.

Of course, the things that are getting more expensive - food, housing, heating, education and medical care - are indications of where innovation and real progress are lacking, where real scarcity remains and efficiencies are yet to be unlocked, and as such, are also a great list of business opportunities to tackle. After all - what is a business but a solution to someone else's problem?

What have you noticed? Is anything other than destruction really getting any cheaper?

What is getting more expensive in your life?

And what opportunities do you spot in areas where real progress has lowed down or even reversed to solve problems?
