The maths, as they say, isn’t mathing.
(Forget girl math. Government math is the real mystery.)
But why am I talking about this?
And what can we do about it?
Well, for my international friends - let this be a parable, a warning about getting what you want and ask for when it comes to unsustainable welfare policy. I’ve long said South Africa is a harbinger of the future of the WEIRD West. Democracy can’t survive state dependency. (And yes, even if you didn’t like who said it, in this case she had a point : sooner or later you run out of other peoples’ money.)
