In which I feel old talking about the youngs and productive and destructive youth culture under the social media microscope. Specifically, we look at the parallels between South Africa's Luh Twizzy subculture (and its nihilist, anarchist "mall challenge" movement) and the K-pop fandoms that attempted to derail Donald Trump's second presidential run.

It begs questions around leadership vacuums and intergenerational conflict - and asks us to ask ourselves if we are giving younger generations any productive ideas worth channeling their energy into.

Are the kids OK?
Are the kids going to be OK?
What happens when a "Messiah" steps in to channel that energy into accelerations entropy or rebuilding a revolution?
