Death doulas are trending up. For today’s signal I look at how midwives for final, irrevocable transitions in life are more and more in demand, and becoming a more and more common calling and career.
After all, life is full of irrevocable change and having someone to guide you through can give you comfort and strength - in both your personal and professional life.
Never mind job security- when we get right down to it, there is no certainty of tomorrow at all.
Change management - at home or at work -is about so much more than processes and targets - it’s about care, kindness and the human spirit.
(Maybe it’s all the wars and rumours of wars that’s making me a bit morbid at the moment, but honestly, I find “memento mori” more empowering than depressing).
