KFC in China has started giving customers pet toys rather than human baby toys.
This signal links not only to the booming economic value of the pet parents/double-income-no-kids market segment, but also links to the macro demographic shift from China to India that's happening right about now, and again, maps onto stories around growth and degrowth, and that future generations are a valuable luxury on a micro and a macro scale.
