Rent a mom to look after your college-aged kids?
Today’s signal looks at further trends toward the commoditisation of care - this time through the advent of “concierge” services that promise to helicopter-patent and pander to the needs of your grown-ish kids in your absence.
It is reminiscent of the children in China charging their parents to be, well, their kids.
And of mothers demanding cash payment for caring for their own chosen offspring.
