Let’s talk about (as I predicted!) child trackers becoming a thing. 

Today’s signal notes how #generationalpha parents are using Apple’s air tags to allow their children the right to roam and play and claw back their childhood (like their parents once did without motitoring).

Your thoughts on freedom being “purchased” with surveillance? 

I spot a pattern : in society, in offices (with remote working), and now in homes. 

And what about trust? What’s lost when we replace trust in people with trust in “trust less” technology? 

And what a contrast with Japan! Where my partner dion chang recently spent a considerable amount of time and noted how the children there are free to roam and walk because the society there has a *collective value* that all children are everyone’s duty to protect. Imagine that - a society (or a company) of values and trust rather than monitoring and surveillance…
