Hi Bronwyn, do you know about junglescout? It's an app to evaluate products sold and to sell on Amazon. It basically a statistics package telling you how many products are sold everyday and what the competition is like. But there's still a human decision to be made as to which products to import. I'd like to see A.I. involved in product selection for Amazon, although when inevitably everyone is using A I. to make the choices there won't be any advantage in using it.
I can see AI being beneficial to humanity in avoiding overstock of bad products and fashion that nobody wants to wear, but it could also be our downfall in persuading ppl to buy things they don't really need if maximising profit is set as the priority.
