You’re not tired because zoom and teams are burning you out - you’re tired because they are boring you out.
That’s right - we get fatigued from under stimulation as much as over stimulation. And digital “experiences” just don’t (as I’ve pointed out here before) “light up” our brain’s neural pathways as much as the real thing (draw your own conclusions as to what that means for the future of simulated AI girlfriend avatars ;)
Anyway - the research I refer to also indicates a solution to keeping your remote teams engaged and energised : shorter, if more frequent meetings…
