Hello hello hello.
I’m back with Season 2 of Thoughts.
And we’re starting with privacy (or the lack thereof) - again.
Which political party is the party of privacy?
Or am I just too old to get why both radical libertarian and soft left governments are adopting and perpetuating AI (data collection = surveillance) spy governance?
From “freemarket right wing” Argentina’s predictive policing announcement to Labour Britain’s facial recognition for safety plans, it’s looks like left or right the future is on film… (doesn’t matter who you vote for, you get the same result but with different justification ;)
Your thoughts on priavcy from state being a relic of the past or a future push back priority?
Or is surveillance just what the people want these days when everyone wants to be on camera and on record all the time?
Let me know…
And if this made you think, share it, or invite me (bronwyn@fluxtrends.co.za) as a travelling court jester to talk to you about where to from here.
