Incidentally, one of the arguments for Universal Basic Income is EXACTLY that it would leave more time for what is not work and should not be framed into any "marketplace", that is "care work"
I know that argument & am sympathetic to the intention - however in outcome UBI (as a monetary solution to a real problem) will exacerbate this sort of inhuman accounting.
1) may I please ask you to elaborate on UBI will exacerbate this sort etc..." Or just point me to where you already likely did?
2) I still don't know IF real UBI is feasible. But I am already almost sure that UBI is NOT "a monetary solution to a real problem", in the sense that UBI
a) is merely the monetary part of larger solutions
Indeed, it's when one starts calling "marketplaces" certain "areas" of human activity and nature that problem starts: https://stop.zona-m.net/2022/01/on-the-imbalances-in-the-sexual-marketplace/

b) above all, UBI is possible only as an outcome of/after the solution to THE real problem, which is how money is defined, issued, distributed.... I elaborated on this here: https://stop.zona-m.net/2020/08/on-work-money-and-purpose-part-3/
